ആ വഴിയായി യദൃച്ഛയാ ഒരു പുരോഹിതന് വന്നു അവനെ കണ്ടിട്ടു മാറി കടന്നു പോയി.

യേശു നിന്നു, അവനെ തന്റെ അടുക്കല് കൊണ്ടുവരുവാന് കല്പിച്ചു.
And Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto him: and when he was come near, he asked him,
അവരോ അവനെ ക്രൂശിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഉറക്കെ മുട്ടിച്ചു ചോദിച്ചു; അവരുടെ നിലവിളി ഫലിച്ചു;
And they were instant with loud voices, requiring that he might be crucified. And the voices of them and of the chief priests prevailed.

Then Paul took the men, and the next day purifying himself with them entered into the temple, to signify the accomplishment of the days of purifcation, until that an offering should be offered for every one of them.
അവര് മുമ്പെ എഫെസ്യനായ ത്രോഫിമോസിനെ അവനോടുകൂടെ നഗരത്തില് കണ്ടതിനാല് പൌലൊസ് അവനെ ദൈവാലത്തില് കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടുവന്നു എന്നു നിരൂപിച്ചു.
Crying out, Men of Israel, help: This is the man, that teacheth all men every where against the people, and the law, and this place: and further brought Greeks also into the temple, and hath polluted this holy place.
പൌലൊസ് തനിക്കു ദ്രവ്യം തരും എന്നു ആശിച്ചു പലപ്പോഴും അവനെ വരുത്തി അവനോടു സംഭാഷിച്ചു പോന്നു.
He hoped also that money should have been given him of Paul, that he might loose him: wherefore he sent for him the oftener, and communed with him.

And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots.
അനന്തരം ആത്മാവു അവനെ മരുഭൂമിയിലേക്കു പോകുവാന് നിര്ബന്ധിച്ചു.
And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
