As a result of opposition from the European Parliament, the Commission amended its original proposal, deleting that clause from the text.
“Il fatto che parteciperanno solo alcuni Stati membri non dovrebbe portare la Commissione ad annacquare la sua proposta originale”, ha ammonito l'eurodeputata S&D relatrice per il Parlamento europeo, Anni Podimata.
"The fact that only some member states will participate should not lead the Commission to water down its original proposal", warned S&D Euro MP and rapporteur for the European Parliament, Anni Podimata.
