Ed ecco, uno di quelli che erano con Gesù, messa mano alla spada, la estrasse e colpì il servo del sommo sacerdote staccandogli un orecchio.
47 and a certain one of those standing by, having drawn the sword, struck the servant of the chief priest, and took off his ear.
Allora Simon Pietro, che aveva una spada, la trasse fuori e colpì il servo del sommo sacerdote e gli tagliò l'orecchio destro.
But Simon Peter had a sword, and he drew it and struck the high priest’s servant, and cut off his right ear.

Therefore, the other disciple, who was known to the high priest, went out and spoke to the woman who was the doorkeeper, and he led in Peter.
